I’m a total underwear addict. There’s nothing that makes me day come together more than when I’ve got a matching set of pretty undies on! I’ve been browsing around for a new few pairs because it’s been ages since I have bought some really nice sets. My last lot were from M&S, but I was amazed when I came across these on H&M’s website. Look at how gorgeous they are! H&M have really upped their lingerie game, as well as their cosmetics range which is taking the blogging community by storm. Anyway, if any of you ladies want to feel sexy and pretty in some beautiful underwear sets, check out H&M’s offering because they’ve got these gorgeous ones that I’m dying for! Roll on payday!

☼ review: Pro:Voke Touch Of Silver Twice A Week Brightening Shampoo

I’ve been blonde for most of my teenage years, and so I definitely feel I’m a bit of an expert on keeping your blonde healthy and pretty looking. There’s a lot of damage and dryness that can be caused by bleach on your hair, and it can be difficult to minimise breakage and dulling of the colour without knowing all the tips and tricks. For me, brassiness is one of my main concerns, which is why I’m absolutely loving this Pro:Voke Touch of Silver shampoo!

When you’re a blonde, the colour can become brassy. In short, it’s a chemical reaction which happens if there’s too many colours on the hair, or if sulphates or other nasties are in your shampoos. To combat this, you can pick up a violet pigmented shampoo which counteracts the orange colour and restores your hair to it’s beautiful ashy former glory.

I got this wonderful shampoo from Superdrug yesterday on offer for £2.04 (bargain!!) so compared to other violet pigmented shampoos, it’s right at the bottom of the price scale. Don’t be put off by the tiny price; cheaper is not always worse! This shampoo is so intensely pigmented with the violet, you don’t need much and it tones the hair really well. Some purple shampoos are really rubbish with spreading and lathering, however this isn’t something I’ve found with my new favourite; this one foams up really well and spreads all over my hair.

I usually leave it for about 5 minutes before rinsing, just to ensure I’ve really given my hair a good tone. This has been brilliant with my lavender hair too! It restores some of the purple pigment while still cleaning my hair, so the colour doesn’t fade too rapidly. All in all, this is a star buy for us blondes, and it’s ridiculously cheap. This is a constant repurchase for me!

autumn/fall favourites (Pinterest)

Lavender Hair
I’ve got the bug! After experimenting with pastel pink and icy peach hair, I’ve gone and got the bug for lavender locks. I’m in love with them because it’s a whole lot more wintery than pink, and they are so incredibly mermaidy and grungey. I’m obsessed and in love; so much so that I’ve ordered the Voilet Skies dye from Bleach London to stick on my pale blonde hair for that amazing lilac look.

American Apparel
This brand has always been one of my greatest loves, and I feel like their autumn/winter garments are just perfect. They’re so warm and high quality; I’m always warm and comfortable and looking lovely when I’m clad in AA gear. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s all sweatshop free and just downright beautiful.

Autumn accssessories
Autumn/fall accessories seem to be the easiest for me to work out. I always go for the classic grungey, effortless, vintage feel. The clubmaster Ray Bans are top of my wish list at the moment, but I always opt for the cheaper fake ebay versions because I know I’ll just sit on them! As for the Doc Marten shoes, these are hopefully my christmas present from my dad this year, and I’ve been simply dying for them for over a year now. They’re just classic, easy and smart. I love them!

Fall Makeup
It’s that classic berry lip with a neutral eye. I adore this style of makeup as it’s so bold and you can really start playing around with your makeup when the weather gets cooler. My go-to fall look is done using my trusty Naked Palette, and I dust a layer of Buck on my upper and lower lids. Then I follow with a thick layer of mascara and finish with either a deep red lip (I love Rimmel Kate Moss 01) or a deep purple or plum lipstick.

♔ The Autumn/Fall TAG

I’ve been tagged by the gorgeous Emily Rose to do this TAG. I absolutely adore the autumn season so there’s loads I’ve got to talk about.

1. Coffee - What is your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks or any other coffee shop?
I suck because I very rarely go into Starbucks because there’s not one close enough to me. I’m absolutely DETERMINED this year to try the Pumpkin Spiced Latte and the Gingerbread Latte if it kills me. I usually stick to my guns and go for a good old comforting Vanilla Latte, which is a lovely winter warmer, but I can imagine the two most popular and most talked about seasonal lattes are going to be gorgeous, and a wonderful way to break up my Christmas shopping trips.

2. Accessories - What do you opt for scarf, boots or gloves?
I opt for scarves and boots! I love my tartan scarves around autumn time because it’s iconic pattern screams out fall, which I love. I wait all summer for it to be time to break it out of the wardrobe and when I do, I can’t help but feel all wintery and excited. As for boots, I’m a chronic boot wearer and I practically live in my Doc Martens. For autumn I add a layer of woolly sock, and incorporate riding boots and cleated sole boots with a small heel into my footwear selection.

3. Music - What's your favourite music to listen to during autumn?
My music taste tends to change with the seasons, so when autumn rolls around I get right back into my classic fall favourites. Mumford and Sons is perfect, and I start listening to Matt Corby, Laura Marling, Paolo Nutini, The Maccabees, Foals and The Doors. I never tend to stray too far from my all time favourites though; and always have time for Nicki Minaj and Backbeat Soundsystems!

4. Perfume - What's your favourite scent for this time of the year?
Hmm, my all time favourite scent is Daisy by Marc Jacobs, which definitely doesn’t scream ‘autumn’, but I still spritz it on every morning because I feel like it suits me and my style and I always feel completely done when I’ve got it on. I have recently been lusting after the Body Shop’s mists, though, and they’ve got a vanilla scent I’m dying to try over the winter months.

5. Candles - What scents will you be burning this season?
I’m rubbish at candles. I love them, I love having them in my room, but usually I’m out in the evenings so I very rarely get to snuggle up on my bed, light my candles and read a book. I’ve got coconut and vanilla scented candles right now, but the cinnamon and spiced apple candles are the ones which are really taking my fancy. I just need to go and pick some up!

6. What do you love most about Autumn?
The colours; the leaves falling from the trees and the cold weather creeping in slowly. I love grey mornings and hearing the rain against the window. I love cosy fluffy slipper socks and cups of tea and hot chocolate. I love lighting the fire and I love when it gets dark early in the evenings. I also adore the evening markets which start to pop up more frequently in the lead up to Christmas, and obviously the stodgy comfort food!

7. Make-up - favourite make up look?
It can be hard to create a quintessentially autumn look that doesn’t involve a black flick and berry lips, but luckily that’s probably my favourite one. I also dig back out my trusty and much-loved Naked and Naked 3 palettes and use the browns and dusty rose/plum shades to create looks with the typical autumn shades.

8. What're you looking forward to most this Autumn?
Bus rides in the dark, early nights, evenings inside in front of the fire and eating my body weight in cottage pie!

I’d like to Tag Chloe Norton, Gemma Frudd, Katie Snooks and Andrea (RosyChicc)! Of course feel free to do it even if I haven’t tagged you, and be sure to leave your link below so I can have a read!

☼ review: Tresemme Platinum Strength Leave In Renewing Complex

I don’t want to sound dramatic here, but I would die without this product. Ok, not really, but it is my absolute saviour and I love it. As someone who seems to be constantly trying to damage my hair, be it with bleach, crazy dye colours or incessant straightening, I do make the effort to use products to heal, smooth and soften my usually dry locks. Leave in treatments are perfect because they work constantly between showers, smoothing and anti-frizzing and repairing your hair.

Tresemme is always a winner when it comes to drugstore haircare. They’ve got a massive range of shampoos and conditioners, and in the more recent years, they’ve got themselves a really good range of leave in treatments. This is by far my favourite, though, not only because of it’s smell, the fact it spreads really beautifully through my hair and noticeably softens it, but also because of the miniature price tag and because it makes my hair swishy and nourished feeling (something very unusual for a chronic bleacher with lots of split ends!)

I apply this when I get out of the shower after washing my hair. I towel dry it, then take quite a generous amount (about 4 pumps) and rub my palms together and distribute it evenly through my damp hair using my fingers is combing motions. I work the rest of it up into my roots and then dry and style my hair as usual. I notice such a difference in my hair’s texture when I use this leave in treatment, and over time my hair is becoming much less damaged despite the abuse it gets! This is a wonder product, and can be picked up from Superdrug for pennies!

☯ wishlist: Drugstore + High Street

I'm off shopping with my lovely friend Emily from EmilyRose (link) soon, and so I thought I'd start to compile a shopping list of all the beauty bits I need to pick up. These are the ones I've got so far, and although these are all drugstore products, these are beauty favourites of many bloggers I follow and I'm excited to branch out and try things I don't usually go for when I hit the high street. I'll be doing a haul video, of course, when I've picked these babies up and there will be reviews upon reviews! Do you use any of these? What are your thoughts on these drugstore and high street products?

☾ face of the day: vampy fall/autumn look

Here's another fall look I've created with a lovely plum lip. I've had this lipstick for aaaages and just never ever use it, but I've discovered that if I dab it on rather than apply it how I usually would, it becomes a gorgeous, buildable, wearable vampy shade of wine/burgundy/plum. Yay! Also, I'm beginning to reach for my pale Rimmel foundations as my skin tone is getting lighter and lighter with this cold weather.

Products used:
MAC Prep and Prime Skin
Rimmel Lasting Perfection Foundation in Vanilla
MAC StudioFix Powder Plus Foundation in NW15
Benefit Hoola
E.L.F Blush in Tickled Pink
Essence Clear Brow and Lash Gel
Stila In The Moment Palette
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Color in Plum Proper

Dotti Black Sheer Chiffon Shirt
American Apparel Corduroy Circle Skirt in Camel
American Apparel Chain-Link Solid Thigh-High Socks in Black
Vintage Riding Boots

There's a YouTube video on my channel with this look as a video, go and check it out if you'd like. If you enjoy it, don't forget to like, comment or subscribe!
